New Delhi: Tatra has moved Delhi High Court against aviation regulator DGCA's decision to cancel the flying permit of Global Vectra, a subsidiary of the company which used to run helicopter service to the holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi.

The move comes days after the company was blacklisted by the Home Ministry.

On Monday, Global Vectra suspended its service to Vaishno Devi, whose promoter Ravi Rishi is under the CBI scanner in the controversial Tatra truck deal with the army, following withdrawal of security clearance by the Union Home Ministry.

No sorties were carried out by the company between Katra and Sanjichat resulting in heavy rush of pilgrims for Pawan Hans Helicopter service.

Hundreds of pilgrims, who had made advanced booking, were left high and dry at Katra, the base camp for the pilgrimage. The Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has directed the Pawan Hans to ferry the stranded pilgrims, Board officials said.
