Team Kejriwal's allegations baseless: Congress
New Delhi: Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi today hit out at activist-turned-politician Arvind Kejriwal over his allegations on businessman Robert Vadra. Here are the highlights of what he said:

  • The allegations are totally baseless.
  • This attack, which was done purposely, was not an attack on an individual person.
  • This was an attack on the Congress party.
  • Those people who put allegations on us said that black money of Congress is involved. As far as investigations are concerned, did they request the government to conduct an inquiry? Did they lodge an FIR, did they go to any agency for any inquiry?
  • Inquiry can only happen when there is some proof.
  • They came directly in front of the media. How will they prove their allegations in front of the media?
  • Just by showing some papers on camera in front of the media, can they prove their allegations are true?
  • You put allegations, you decide the crime and you yourself declare the punishment?
  • If you are putting any allegations, you must have concrete proof.
  • You didn't approach any court or agency because you know you don't have any concrete proof to prove your allegations.
  • Such dirty politics is very unfortunate.
  • I want to tell the media not to pay attention to such people who do such things for cheap publicity.
  • Someone who used to say till yesterday that they don't want to be a part of politics, today they are forming a political party.
  • Who can trust such people?
