Bhubaneswar: There is tension at the proposed Posco site in Orissa over the construction of a new road that would connect the site with Paradeep port.
Hundreds of people including women and children marched to the site and stalled the construction work.
The construction of road had stopped in September following a clash between the workers deployed by the contractor and anti-Posco protesters. Fresh attempt by the contractor with the alleged backing of the administration to start construction has enraged local people who have been demanding the relocation of the 12 billion dollar Posco steel project.
