Tension in Baramulla after boy drowns

Kashmir: The drowning of a young boy on Saturday made the north Kashmir town of Baramulla tense.

Local residents say he was chased by security forces as they tried to control stone pelting protesters.

However, the police say they are investigating the incident to see what led to the drowning. They also say their priority is to fish out the boy's body first and restore order.

A similar controversy in Srinagar last week  had led to a new round of tension.
