Terrorists attacked a police station in south Kashmir's Pulwama district this morning, engaging in a gunfight with the security forces.
A senior police officer said terrorists attacked the Pulwama police station with grenades and automatic gunfire in the early hours.
"Firing exchanges started immediately after the attack between the security forces and the militants. Further details are awaited," the officer said.
Terrorists also snatched a weapon from the residential guard of a regional National Conference (NC) block president in DH Pora village of Kulgam district, the officer said.
