New Delhi: SpiceJet today sought to allay concerns over some incident involving its flight to Amritsar from Delhi and said there was neither any tyre burst, nor a fire on board the aircraft.
"All passengers on board are safe," a spokesperson for the airline said in a statement, adding all the 75 guests on board are safe.
"The engineer on ground saw smoke coming out from the right landing gear. Taking a precautionary measure, he used fire extinguisher on overheated landing gear," the spokesperson said.
"No incident of fire or tyre burst took place," he said.
