Congress president Rahul Gandhi today shared pictures of Mansarovar lake during his Kailash Yatra, commenting that "there is no hatred here".
His tweets, embellished with pictures of the breathtaking lake and the mountains, still managed to stir the pot back home.
A man goes to Kailash Mansarovar when it calls him, tweeted Mr Gandhi from his official handle. He described the waters as "gentle, tranquil and calm" and said they "give everything and lose nothing".
The BJP's Amit Malviya re-tweeted him and outraged over a word in the Congress president's tweet.
The Congress president is on a 12-day trip to Kailash Mansarovar. He is likely to cover a distance of 60 km on foot.
