Tamil Nadu Police have arrested seven people in Coimbatore for distributing pamphlets against the ongoing Tamil conference.
Five of those arrested belong to a radical organisation called Democratic Youth and two to another such outfit, the Democratic Youth Front.
Today is the third day of the lavish five-day Tamil conference, a pet project of Chief Minister K Karunanidhi.
