Three alleged SIMI operatives arrested in Madhya Pradesh

Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh: The Anti-Terrorist Squad of Madhya Pradesh Police arrested three alleged Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) operatives from the Badwani area of the state today.

These alleged SIMI operatives, along with four other inmates, had escaped from the Khandwa jail on October 1 after stabbing two policemen.

The three men were arrested around 2 am today, following an encounter with the police.

Three pistols, 1.35 lakh cash and knives were recovered from them.
