Three militants killed in J&K encounters

Srinagar: Even as the Prime Minister is on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, three militants have been killed in two separate encounters there.

Two militant have been killed in an encounter in Mendhar, just 15kms from the Line of Control.

The encounter started on Wednesday night and is over now.

Another militant was killed in Tanghdhar in North Kashmir while he was trying to infiltrate. The encounter started on Thursday morning and is reportedly still on.
