3 Pilgrims Killed, 20 Injured As Bus Overturns In Bihar

Three pilgrims were killed and 20 injured when a bus overturned near the Saraigarh village in Bihar.

Supaul: Three pilgrims, including two women, were killed and 20 others injured when a bus overturned near a village on NH-57 in Supaul district of Bihar on Wednesday.

The incident took place when the private bus, in which people were returning to West Bengal from Ajmer Sharif, lost control and overturned near Saraigarh village, Bhaptiyahi police station in-charge Mr Chandan Kumar said.

While a 70-year-old man, identified as Mr Md. Ismail died on the spot, two unidentified women succumbed to injuries at Sadar Hospital, he said.

As many as 20 persons sustained injuries of whom eight were undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital, Mr Kumar said.
