DMK asks all its MPs present in Delhi to attend the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to mark the UPA govt's three years in office tonight. Mr Raja, just out of jail on 2G scam charges, is one of them.
The DMK has no grouse with the Centre at this juncture at least, to sulk like a child. And its MPs are camping in the capital, and in all probability the likes of T R Baalu will break bread later tonight at the UPA do.

Govt may fall anytime, says BJP BJP says coalition partners were unhappy and were not even ready to break bread together. While referring to Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee's refusal to attend the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tonight, BJP said the three years of UPA regime would be written in "black letters."

Karunanidhi on three years of UPA-2: Every govt has ups and downs. How can I mark it?
Mr Karunanidhi's elder son and Union Minister M K Alagiri gave the UPA a "cent percent" figure. Alagiri had a wisecrack in response to a simple query on whether he is attending the dinner: "I'm on a diet"!

UPA 2 report card: Govt to showcase growth in FDI, income The UPA government is set to release its third anniversary report card today, rebuffing the opposition's criticism about policy paralysis by highlighting the successful initiatives in various sectors, particularly agriculture, power and social sector. The report will contain sectorwise initiatives taken over the last one year.
