Dehradun:
Breaking his silence, former Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari, who resigned after an alleged sex scandal, has said the accusations against him are "fabricated and false".
Now there's more trouble for him in his hometown Dehradun. He's being accused of handing out prime land at throwaway prices while he was Chief Minster.
Leading NGOs plan to move high court against him. They allege he gave prime land at 3 industrial estates to top industrialists at throwaway prices. There are allegations Tiwari distributed ministerial-level posts to nearly 300 politicians and also allegedly misused the chief minister's fund.
The BJP government is probing allocation of 76 government horticulture gardens free of cost.
It's going to be a long lonely road ahead for Tiwari who has been chief minister of undivided UP thrice, but now finds himself all alone.
