Amit: I am always in favour of parks in big cities, but when I came to know that more than 6000 trees were cut and a bird sanctuary was destroyed I was very upset, any ways good luck to people of Lucknow for the new park. I also plan to have my statue in front of my company office.
Pavan: Looking at the pictures posted, it seems like Mayawati has spent public money for publicising her party symbol. What was the need to have so many statues? This is the lesson for UP voters, if you keep repeating the mistake, Mayawati will make world record for number of statues of built of her own.
H L Kaul: There was a recent report that 0.7 bed are available for every 1000 patients in hospitals in India. Better sense should have prevailed on Mayawati and a new hospital should have been built with all modern facilities so as to accommodate the poor and Dalit patients needing urgent health care.
Indian: If it's to attract tourist then it's worth it.
Poonam: I think Mayawati has done a great job. She has helped to make Noida green. If people open their eyes, the can see the better side of it.
Sravan: Absolutely worthful, governance also includes heritage.
Sritharan: This will be the fate our nation, if we failed to elect the right people for the right job. Maya missed a golden opportunity to uplift her own people. She has wasted 'taxpayer's money and not her own!
Amol Chaturvedi: What a shame! Not a single word about encephalitis. I think it would have been a better option to setup an industry and giving reservation to deserved ones rather spending 685 crores for a park.
Soumen Das: It's definitely good to have parks for urban life but the price tag of 685 crore is too high to afford for a state like UP where the basic needs of common people like health, education etc. are in dire straits.
Harish: It is totally a waste of money, instead of hi-tech park, school or hospital could have built.
