Guwahati: The driver of Guwahati Siphung Express and some other passengers were injured after four bogies of the train got derailed on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at Basugaon in Kokrajhar district when the engine of the train was crossing a bridge.
Footage from the incident shows at least two bogies hanging precariously from the bridge, and another two piled up against each other.
The train was running at a slow speed when the derailment happened, and that is why, officials say, there are no casualties.
The train runs from Alipurduar in north Bengal to Guwahati in Assam, the main line that connects the two states. Authorities are working to restore rail traffic which has been hit because of the accident.
