Mumbai, New Delhi: It's 11-year-old Shreya's first total solar eclipse and she will be viewing it from close quarters aboard a special flight that will take her over 40000 feet above the earth's surface.

"I will start shooting when it starts - when you can see the black thing slowly coming," said Shreya Srivastava, a passenger on the Eclipse viewing flight.

The 21st century's longest solar eclipse is generating a lot of interest and travel companies have been quick to cash in - like clubbing it with tour packages to cities where the eclipse can be viewed most clearly.

Cox and Kings has a special flight that lets you witness it from close. From the right side window seats you get to see the sun side. From the left, the earth side which lets you witness the shadow on the earth.

At nearly 80000 rupees it doesn't come cheap but the flight is nearly sold out.
