Mild Tremors Felt in Parts of Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: A mild earthquake on Wednesday evening hit the India-Nepal border region and the Kashmir Valley, officials said.

The "slight" quake measured 3.3 on the Richter scale, the India Meteorological Department said.

It also shook the Kashmir Valley, meteorological department chief Sanam Lotus said in Srinagar.
