Behrampore, West Bengal:
A Trinamool Congress activist was killed and two persons were injured in a clash between TMC and CPI(M) at Raninagar in Murshibadad district today, police said.
Police said TMC activist Sirajul Seikh died on the spot as the two sides clashed with bombs and firearms following disputes over Gram Panchayat Board formation.
Two others were injured in the clash and admitted to Murshidabad Medical College.
TMC sources alleged some Congress activists also joined the Left supporters and attacked the ruling party activists.
But Congress and CPI(M) have denied the charge.
