Dispur:
Two men accused of raping and murdering a woman were allegedly lynched in Assam's Dibrugarh district last night.
The incident reportedly happened at a tea garden in the Chabua area of Dibrugarh. The men were accused of raping a woman who worked at the garden.
The woman reportedly went missing on Thursday. Her family and neighbours searched for her the entire day but could not find her. They alleged that they had informed the police but they did not turn up to help.
The woman's body was found on Friday morning. The family suspected two men in the area of having raped and murdered her. An angry mob later searched for them and lynched them at the garden.
Angry garden labourers are now not allowing the police or media to enter the garden premises.
