Speaking at an emergency session of Parliament, Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron, on Thursday, outlined a series of measures to deal with the crisis:
- Govt. will act decisively, end culture of fear
- Riots: criminality, pure and simple
- Police will raid houses
- Discipline in schools
- Tough measures to stop further violence: water cannons and plastic bullets
- Nothing should be off the table
- Businesses will receive compensation, assistance
- Britain will seek advice from law enforcers in N.Y., L.A. and Boston to end gang violence
- Looking at limiting use of Facebook, Twitter
