Itanagar: An unexploded bomb of the 1962 Sino-India war was found at Mechukha in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and it was handed over to the army, an official said today.

Weighing about 3.5 kgs with a circumference of 7.96 cms, the bomb was dug out during excavation at the ongoing construction site of the Advanced Landing Ground (ALG) recently, Colonel R Parthasarathy, Project Manager, ALG, Mechukha, said.

The bomb was handed over to the army, he said.
