Union Ministers To Address State BJP Spokespersons

New Delhi: A number of union ministers, including Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari, will address BJP spokespersons drawn from across the country tomorrow ahead of its public outreach programmes starting from May 26, when the Narendra Modi government completes its two years.

Party chief Amit Shah will deliver the inaugural address in which he will highlight the government's "achievements" and ask party leaders to publicise them during various events to be held.

Ministers will speak on a host of government measures targeting different segments of society like poor, farmers, youth and women, and different aspects of work like infrastructure, governance, economy and reforms, its media department head Shrikant Sharma said.

Besides Shah and two former party chiefs, union ministers Smriti Irani, Piyush Goyal, Prakash Javadekar and Ravi Shankar Prasad are also scheduled to speak to over 220 leaders.

They will be speaking at length about the welfare measures started by the government and its umerous other initiatives, Mr Sharma said.

BJP will organise over 200 events from May 26 and has asked its MPs and MLAs to spend time with masses to publicise its achievements.
