Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh: A station officer and two constables have been booked for allegedly gang-raping a minor in the Rasoolpur police station in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad district.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate court ordered the lodging of a First Information Report (FIR) against former station officer Shriprakash Yadav and constables Raghu Raj Yadav and Shishu Raj Yadav in a case that dates back to December 2012.
Shriprakash Yadav, who was then posted as the station officer, had allegedly raped a minor who had followed her father to the police station after he was picked up by the Station House Officer (SHO) and two constables.
Shriprakash Yadav is currently posted as the SHO of Sirasaganj. Just four months ago, he was suspended after getting caught on camera brutally assaulting protesting women. Shockingly he was reinstated after that incident. (Caught on camera: UP cops thrashed, kicked women protesters)
