Noida: There is good news for visitors to Agra.

Uttar Pradesh Roadways has introduced a bus service via Yamuna Expressway, which would be available from UP Roadways Bus Depot near Metro City Centre in Noida.

A total six trips a day have been planned. The first bus for Agra will depart at 7 am, and the others at 9 am, 11 am, 1pm, 4 pm and 7 pm.

The travel time for the journey will be approximately two and half hours.

One trip has also been planned for visitors to Mathura. The departure time for Mathura bus is 6 pm.

As there were very few passengers for Mathura, the trip will be extended upto Agra via Mathura from Thursday, said an officer of U P State Road Transport Corporation.

The present fare for Agra is Rs 135, and for Mathura it is Rs 102.

If passenger volume is sufficient to run the fleet, UPSRTC has planned not to pass on the toll burden to passengers.  However, if passenger volume is less, then the fare will be hiked in next few days, the official said.
