New Delhi: Both the houses of Parliament were adjourned today till noon amidst noisy protests by the BJP over IAS officer Ashok Khemka's allegations in land deals involving Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and riot-hit Kishtwar town in Jammu and Kashmir.

As soon as the Lok Sabha met at 11 am, BJP members started protesting over Khemka's allegations of a land-licencing scam in Haryana and false documentation in land deals regarding Vadra in Gurgaon.

The Left party members also raised the issue of solar scam in Kerala.

As efforts by the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar went unheard, the house was adjourned till noon.

Similar scenes took place in Rajya Sabha where members of Telugu Desham Party (TDP) came into the well of the house demanding united Andhra Pradesh and Left members shouted slogans over Kerala's solar scam that pertains to financial cheating of several people by Saritha Nair and her live-in partner Biju Radkahrishnan who offered clients solar energy solutions at huge discounts.

When Rajya Sabha Chairperson Hamid Ansari allowed Leader of Opposition Arun Jaitley to make a statement on Kishtwar, members of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) started speaking impromptu on the issue.

Mr Jailtey was yesterday stopped from entering Kishtwar, where communal violence since Friday claimed two lives.

After repeated requests by Ansari to allow the house function failed, the house was adjourned first for 15 minutes and later till noon.
