Washington: The United States Embassy has issued a fresh travel warning to its citizens touring India till October 30. The warning comes during festive time in India.
The Department of State reminded US citizens of the continued possibility of terror attacks throughout India during the holiday season, which includes Hindu, Islamic, and secular holidays as well as the period surrounding the commemoration of the September 11 terror attacks.
The November 2008 attacks in Mumbai provided a vivid reminder that hotels and other public places are especially attractive targets for terrorist groups.
