Bollywood actor Hema Malini's house was broken open in suburban Goregaon and cash and gold ornaments collectively valued at Rs 80 lakh were stolen, police said on Sunday.
The 61-year-old actor had gone to Nagpur on Saturday morning.
When Hema Malini returned home on Sunday morning, she found the cash and valuables stolen from her cupboard at her bungalow 'Gokuldham' in suburban Goregaon, Additional Police Commissioner, Ramrao Pawar said.
According to police, the robbers entered the house by breaking the window and decamped with Rs 75 lakh cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 5 lakh, he added.
