New Delhi: A day after the Varanasi bomb blast the blame game has begun. Hitting back at Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, the state Cabinet Secretary Shashank Shekhar said that the Government cannot pass the blame on the state when it had no actionable inputs to offer.

"Centre cannot pass blames to the states and wash off its hands" said Shashank Manohar at a press conference in Lucknow.
The blast that took place on Wednesday evening killed a one-and-a-half-year-old child and injured 25 others. A terror email believed to have been sent by the outfit Indian Mujahideen has been tracked to Mumbai and two people were questioned on Tuesday evening. However, no arrests have been made so far.
