Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot.
Jaipur:
Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot today accused the Vasundhara Raje government of neglecting interests of farmers, and said the state was suffering under the BJP rule.
"Farmers suffered huge losses due to damage to crops and as a result of it, 60 farmers committed suicide this year but there is no relief yet. More than ten lakh farmers are still deprived of compensation," Mr Pilot said in a statement.
"All the sectors including agriculture are bound to suffer because of the lack in coordination between the state and the Centre. BJP is ruling both at the Centre and in the state but has not given any advantage of the people of the state," the former Union minister said.
