Vehicles carrying relief material to flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir have been exempted from paying toll fee till September 24, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday.
"All vehicles carrying relief material to J&K are exempted from paying user fee at toll plazas till Sep 24, 2014," Mr Gadkari tweeted.
Floods claimed over 200 lives in the Kashmir Valley. Over 234,000 flood-hit people have been rescued so far from different parts of the state.
