Veteran Congress leader Uma Shankar Mishra, who had been in charge of many an election campaign of the Gandhi clan from the Rae Bareli parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh, died on Monday.
He was 92 and unwell for some time.
The news brought hundreds of Congress members to his home in Rae Bareli to pay their respects to him.
