Vijayawada:
L Rajagopal, the Congress MP, who threatened to resign on Thursday over a separate Telangana state, has threatened to go on an indefinite fast.
Rajagopal, who is from Vijaywada, wants a resolution on the Telangana state to be moved immediately in the Andhra Assembly. He believes this will be defeated.
Chief Minister K Rosaiah has said that no resolution will be moved till there's a consensus on the issue. Rosaiah's government in Andhra could be in a minority if the Speaker accepts the resignations of the 79 Congress MLAs from the non-Telangana regions that have put in their papers.
