World Champion Viswanathan Anand is being felicitated in Chennai today

The whole country had been waiting for Anand's arrival ever since he beat Boris Gelfand of Israel in a rapid chess tie-breaker on Wednesday to clinch his fourth world title in a row.
"I thank all those who came to receive me. I'm very happy," an elated Anand said.
Anand received a special reception at the Chennai airport as a huge crowd, among them many school children wearing Vishy masks, welcomed the Indian Grandmaster.
