An unidentified man could be the hijacker who took a train and collided it on another in Chennai on Wednesday. He is one among the four killed in the collision. Police suspect him to be from Andhra Pradesh -- possibly a Naxal on a suicide mission and have announced a reward for any clues about him. Railway experts investigating the case say he must have been tech saavy.
Say J K S Naidu, Commissioner (Railway Safety): "He must have been an extremely knowledgeable person. It is not that easy for an unauthorised person to drive a train."
The loss of life would have been unimaginably high had the hijacked train collided with a passenger train. The probe will also look at whether it was part of a big terror plan.
