India Votes 2014: Battleground Kerala
According to NDTV's opinion poll, of Kerala's 20 parliamentary seats, Congress-led UDF gets 10, down by six and the Left coalition (LDF) gets the other 10. A month ago, the poll showed 13 for the Congress-led UDF and seven for the Left. So as campaigning progresses, the Left appears to be benefitting.
According to NDTV's opinion poll, Kerala believes Rahul Gandhi would make the best prime minister, a marked departure from results in other parts of the country. 52 percent of Kerala says Mr Gandhi would be the best PM, 22 percent favours Mr Modi and both Arvind Kejriwal and Dr Manmohan Singh got six percent each.
