Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje invited IT industries to the state for promoting 'Digital Rajasthan' and said it will be a catalyst for the digital transformation.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today said her government was working to digitally empower every citizen to enhance their quality of life, as she sought to promote Rajasthan as a state with potential to become innovation and knowledge hub of the country.
"Digital Rajasthan is a powerful platform to realise the vision and to make the state a role model for digital transformation," Ms Raje said in her address at Cisco India Summit in Jaipur.
She said the state government was working to translate her vision into a reality by utilising the newly-announced initiatives of Digital India, Smart City, Skill development among others.
"The state government is committed to provide efficient, reliable and transparent government with the mantra of good governance -- SuRaaj," she said.

The chief minister said that Rajasthan is the first state in the country to have implemented an integrated and unified E-Governance Framework.
Principal Secretary Energy Sanjay Malhotra, Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority Shikhar Agarwal and others also present in the summit.
