Ahead of his 24th birthday, Aaditya Thackeray, whose father Uddhav heads the Shiv Sena, has written to supporters with guidelines for celebrations.
Aaditya, who is chief of the Sena's youth wing, writes, "Please do not put up any illegal hoardings or banners anywhere." Instead, he says, on his birthday on Friday, "I will be home to meet everyone from 10 am to 6 pm and accept your love and blessings."
His note specifies, "Please do not distribute ANY kind of food (Sweets, fruits or anything else.)... food poisoning is something that can happen to anyone, especially during monsoons."
