Mumbai:
Sachin Tendulkar has joined the NDTV-Coca Cola campaign to raise funds for better schools for India's children.
The campaign will focus on improving sanitation in schools. Children -especially girls- often drop out of schools after hitting puberty because they don't have working bathrooms.
The six-month-campaign - Support-My-School - will end with a fund-raising telethon.
"I am extremely honoured to be part of this campaign", said Sachin. "I can't wait to make things happen...I hope we are able to achieve our dreams and bring smiles to people's faces."
