New Delhi:
Shah Rukh Khan, who stars in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's upcoming film
Jab Harry Met Sejal, opposite Anushka Sharma says that the film is about a tourist guide and his love story, reports news agency IANS. "The film travels a lot but it is not on travel. It's about a tourist guide, but it's a love story. Two people meet somehow, and somewhere down the line as they are moving around, they kind of fall in love."
Jab Harry Met Sejal has been extensively shot in Budapest, Amsterdam, Prague and Punjab.
The title of the film was revealed a couple of days ago. SRK and Anushka are co-stars of films such as
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and
Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
This is the first time SRK has collaborated with Imtiaz Ali, director of films like
Love Aaj Kal and
Jab We Met. "In a certain way, Imtiaz Ali reminds me of Mr Yash Chopra because he writes love stories, which travel all over India too and have a Punjab taste. His writing is fantastic," Shah Rukh told IANS.
Of
Harry Met Sejal, the 51-year-old actor said, "It is a happy film as the poster suggests and the character's names are Harinder 'Harry' Singh and Sejal. It is kind of the Punjabi, Gujarati combination."
Jab Harry Met Sejal releases on August 4. "I think we will be able to garner some advantage of the holiday of August 15 and I think our film has that scope," SRK said.
After
Jab Harry Met Sejal, the actors will collaborate for the fourth time in Aanand L Rai's next film, in which SRK plays a dwarf. The film also stars Katrina Kaif, their
Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star.
