These tweets have got many laughs on social media
An exchange on twitter between three politicians, two of them MPs sitting in a parliamentary committee meeting, has amused many on social media.
The MPs, BJ Panda, Derek O'Brien and Milind Deora, are among India's most social media savvy politicians.
Mr Panda, a BJD parliamentarian, tweeted on Tuesday afternoon, "Some 1st time MPs' conduct is guided by their idea of Parlmt as shown by media. Out of sync in committee mtgs (in-camera & v.difft ambience) (sic)."
Moments later, Trinamool Congress member Derek O'Brien responded, "Hmmm sitting three seats away from you ...wink :)"
Congress leader Milind Deora was not in the meeting, but apparently had the last word.
"@quizderek @PandaJay put away your smartphones and get back to work guys," he tweeted with a wink. Mr Deora, a former MP, lost the national election last year.
This was followed by an outpouring of comments.
"@quizderek @PandaJay all work and no play?? ... Good to c u too take breaks," tweeted Rupinder Jassal.
And one tweet said, ""@quizderek: @milinddeora @PandaJay Ha ... boys will be boys :) After the meeting, sir :)" Ladkon Se galati Ho Jati hai."
The tweet purportedly posted by Mr O'Brien is not on his page anymore.
Milind Deora, however, sportingly re-tweeted a screenshot of the exchange.
