In democracy, Govt must consider public view. It is not that once elected they are free to do against law. People are fed up with corruption and black money accumulated through wrong deeds. Definitely one should be above law, not even Prime Minister and Chief Justice of India. People support Anna's movement against corruption, but all may not actively participate in the movement at Janatar Mnatar.

I live in Canada, left my motherland 25 years ago because I had no political Godfather or enough money to bribe a government babu to get a decent job. These Sibals and Digvijays who criticize civil activists, have they ever raised their voice against Raja or Kalmadi. How many scams but not even a single person has been punished

We would not have been in this controversy had the govt been doing their job. Their indecision and efforts to save the tainted have led to this state of affairs when people are forced to take things into their own hands. Too many lawyers are involved in this whole affair. One needs a moralistic person to sort these things out. Anna is filling that vacuum.

Just tell me honestly have u ever paid ur challan on the street? i bet , instead of paying challan u would have given rs 50 or 100 to get out of the situation and now u call govt corrupt.

Do we have a choice? If we do not support Anna and the civil society who are trying to do something good for our nation.. Corruption WINS.. away from this political theater.. For India as a country to progress forward.. WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO CHANGE the chalta hai attitude.. needs to go and let's talk about true reform..

It's SO very easy to point fingers at the govt. and WE the common man dont want to do anything or change ourselves first. On top of it these people have clowns like Ramdev protesting. "Common Man" needs to wake up from its slumber and stop making govt. bashing and mob mentality a side business!!!!

The government is in the process of making a strong Lokpal Bill. But no government will allow someone to hold a gun to its head and be told 'my way or fast unto death'.
