New Delhi:
There is still no decision on Karnataka Chief Justice P D Dinakaran's elevation to the Supreme Court. The names of others in the line will be processed for the elevation to the apex court, Chief Justice of India (CJI), K G Balakrishnan, said on Sunday.
When asked if Dinakaran's name has been dropped the CJI, however, maintained that deliberations are still going on.
The move to put on hold Dinakaran's elevation comes amid allegations that the judge has amassed land in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district.
