Mumbai: The Special 26/11 Court in Mumbai has found Ajmal Kasab's lawyer, Abbas Kazmi, guilty of lying but the decision regarding whether he will continue as his lawyer will be taken on Friday.
On Thursday, while closing the case of the prosecution, Ujjwal Nikam submitted a formal list of witnesses whose affidavits will be submitted and won't be called in for interrogation.
To this, Kazmi made a hue and cry in court saying he didn't know about it.
The judge disagreed with Kazmi saying that Nikam had indeed informed the court about the affidavits. Kazmi denied having any knowledge of this list. The judge then got upset saying that the court will have to rethink Kazmi's appointment.
