Kurukshetra: BJP's Kurukeshtra lawmaker Raj Kumar Saini today said he will reply to a show-cause notice issued by the party within two three days as he stood by his opposition to the Jat quota.
In the letter dated February 20, state BJP president Subhash Barala, had asked the lawmaker to explain why action should not be taken against him for his 'provocative' statements against reservation to the Jat community despite earlier warning by the party.
Asked to comment on the notice, Mr Saini told media persons that he would reply to the show-cause notice within next two-three days.
However, he reiterated his stand that he is against giving reservation to the Jats in 27 per cent of Other Backward Classes (OBC).
He strongly condemned the vandalism unleashed by some miscreants during the Jat agitation and demanded that the Haryana government should immediately release compensation to all those who suffered losses during the stir.
