
We will request the authorities to handover Chhota Rajan to Maharashtra, the chief minister has said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said the state government will seek handover of Underworld don Chhota Rajan once he is deported to India.
"We will request the authorities to handover Chhota Rajan to Maharashtra," said the Chief Minister.
Chhota Rajan, born Rajendra Sadashiv Nikalje is one of India's most wanted gangsters. The underworld don wanted for over two decades for a series of murders, extortion and drug trafficking in India, was arrested by the Bali police in Indonesia on a Red Corner Notice issued by Interpol.
The CBI confirmed his arrest and said that the gangster was apprehended by the Indonesian police on its request via Interpol.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister said "Chhota Rajan committed many crimes in Maharashtra. We will provide evidence against him."
Mr Fadnavis made it clear that Chhota Rajan will face trial in the state.
