Will Vasundhara Raje fall in line?

Jaswant Singh's expulsion could also have an impact on the BJP's Rajasthan revolt by Vasundhara Raje and her loyalists.

On Wednesday, the BJP had said that its rebels in Rajasthan will soon fall in line. And now an MLA in Raje's camp has claimed that former Rajasthan chief minister will go to Delhi on Saturday and meet the party leadership.

Two MLAs close to Raje had earlier been suspended as a sharp message to those who have been protesting against the party's decision that Raje has to step down.

Rajendra Singh Rathode, considered to be Raje's right hand man, and Gyan Dev Ahuja have been suspended for indiscipline.

Rathode was the one who led the revolt to Delhi when the BJP top brass asked Raje to step down as Leader of the Opposition in Rajasthan.

The BJP wants her to step down as Leader of the Opposition in the state after the poor show in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Earlier, after days of standoff, BJP president Rajnath Singh said he had asked Vasundhara Raje to quit as Rajasthan's Leaders of Opposition.
