Winning 3 seats will be my answer: Yeddyurappa
Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said he would "reply" to allegations against him by winning all the three assembly by-elections to be held in the state on April nine.

"We will win all the three constitutencies," he told reporters here. "In these times of allegations, their (the opposition Congress and JDS) aim is to put me on the dock by trying to dent my image".

"Reply for it is by winning all the three constituencies," Yeddyurappa added. "This is my aim. It's a matter of prestige for the party (BJP)".

The bypoll was necessitated following the resigning of assembly membership by M C Ashwath of JDS from Chennapatna, S V Ramachandra of Congress (Jagalur-ST) and M Naryarayana Swamy of Congress (Bangarpet-SC).

The Chief Minister dismissed talk of rebellion against him and dissident activities as "media creation".

He said the party's state unit President K S Eshwarappa, who has reportedly leading the dissidents, is close to him and would remain so in future. "We are all together, there are no differences".
