Patna: Two women attacked each other with acid in a domestic dispute and suffered burns in Supaul district of Bihar today.
Supaul Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rakesh Kumar Sinha said the incident occurred at Kataiya village.
"Both the women are wives of two brothers. Their domestic dispute while cooking food turned violent and they threw acid on each other. While one has suffered acid burns on her face, the other was injured on her neck," said the ASP.
Pipra Station House Officer (SHO) Chandan Kumar said both the women are being treated at local hospitals for the burns and their condition was not serious.
An acid used for cleaning toilets was used during the fight, he said.
