Kota: 17-year-old Aaditya Jain, named the youngest published poet by the Golden Book of World Records, has expressed his disappointment over not being recognised by the literary bodies of the country.

The young poet had written the poetic biography of former president Pratibha Patel 'Pratibha ki Pratibha', that was released by the Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2012. He has also been conferred with an honorary doctorate by World Records University, London.

'Pratibha ki Pratibha' earned him the honor of being the youngest published poet in the world by the Golden Book of World Records.

"Not a single literary academy of the country has recognized me as a poet and granted me membership of its platforms," Jain said today.

"Although the state and central government have conferred me with many awards, the academic institutions of the country have not recognised me as a poet because of my young age," he said.
