The year-long 'Kumbh Mela' which began in Nashik and in Trimbakeshwar last year, will conclude tomorrow.
The 'Kumbh Mela' was started on July 14 last year after a grand flag-hoisting ceremony, Satish Shukla of Nashik Purohit Sangh, told PTI. The ceremony was attended among others by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Trimbakeshwar.
The mega-religious congregation will conclude tomorrow, Mr Shukla said.
He said the flag will be brought down tomorrow in a ceremony at Trimbakeshwar at around 9 p0m and in Nashik at around 9.30 pm. The Purohit Sangh has invited Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for the function.
Meanwhile, the Nashik Municipal Corporation has made elaborate arrangements for the programme where a large number of devotees are expected to take part.
The city and the district police have beefed up the security of the area.
